This update brings significant new features and improvements to enhance your experience with PAK cloud.

Visual Refresh​

The PAK cloud interface has undergone a visual refresh to improve usability and aesthetics. Expect a cleaner layout, updated icons, and a more intuitive navigation experience. This update also lays the basis for future enhancements.

Customizable Depot Hierarchy​

The Depot Search Hierarchy can now be customized by your organization with up to five levels and custom attributes. This allows you to tailor the structure to better fit your workflow and data structure. Contact your PAK cloud representative to enable this feature for your deployment.

Enhanced Dataset Table​

The measurement details dataset table now supports column resizing and drag-and-drop reordering, giving you more control over how you view and organize your data. This makes it easier to customize your workspace and focus on the information that matters most to you.

Move Measurements Enhancements​

We've significantly improved the measurement moving experience with better UX, enhanced autocomplete functionality, improved modal layouts, and more intuitive controls. Moving large batches of measurements between projects and jobs is now smoother and more reliable, with better error handling and clearer feedback throughout the process.

Enhanced Measurement Deletion Handling​

We have resolved a long-standing issue where deleted measurements may have left behind residual data.

Based on user feedback, we've comprehensively improved the measurement deletion experience:

  • Visual Progress Tracking: A new progress meter shows deletion preparation status
  • Persistent Deletion Status: Ongoing deletions are clearly indicated and preserved across sessions
  • Better Error Handling: Improved error messages and handling for indexing operations during deletion/restoration
  • More Information: Additional context is now provided when attempting to delete measurements or orders

These improvements ensure greater transparency and reliability when managing your measurement data.

New Version Notification and What's New Page​

The PAK cloud will now automatically notify users when a new version is available. A "What's New" page will provide details on the latest features and improvements, ensuring you stay informed about updates.

Bug Fixes and Performance Improvements​

This release includes various bug fixes, performance optimizations and incremental enhancements:

  • Enhanced Content Collection Performance: Improved loading performance with configurable chunk sizes for better handling of large datasets
  • Improved Input Handling: Enhanced input field behavior to prevent accidental data loss when typing quickly, especially in depot search fields where debounced values could previously overwrite user input
  • Search Autocomplete Improvements: Resolved issues where move measurements autocomplete could incorrectly suggest the source as the target
  • Updated Dependencies: Updates to open source projects that enable projects of this complexity, ensuring better security and stability
