July Release (2026.7)
With 2026.7, two features leave preview and become the standard experience for everyone: the section-picker navigation and the tabbed detail view for orders and measurements.
Navigation: the section picker becomes standard
The section-picker is now the standard navigation rather than a preview. Star the top-level sections you use most to pin them to the nav bar for one-click access, and reach anything else through the command palette with Cmd / Ctrl + K.
Star a destination to pin it to the navigation bar, and reach it in one click from anywhere.
Orders and measurements
The tabbed detail view is now the default for both orders and measurements, replacing the old tile layout. Each record opens with a compact header, and on a narrow window the less-used tabs fold into a menu so the important ones stay visible. Links now behave the way you'd expect: the active tab and the sort order of the orders list are part of the URL, so a shared link — or the browser back button — lands you exactly where you were.
The tabbed detail view — switch between Overview, Units under test, Test sequences, and the remaining tabs.
Performance
Data that isn't needed right away is now fetched later, so the app becomes usable sooner after a cold start.
Fixes
- Depot Search — results sort in the right direction again, and an incomplete server response no longer breaks the result list.
- Content Collection — adding many items at once shows a progress dialog, and drag & drop works right away instead of only after a reload.
- Orders — the attribute editor no longer lets you save a row whose columns have slipped out of alignment; pass-by sections stay open when you resize the window; a sorting glitch was fixed.
- Order Detail — returning to an order no longer shows an empty Testplan tab; tabs now have distinct labels with a counter per test sequence.
- Measurements — moving measurements within a two-level depot now warns before overwriting an existing measurement, and works even when the project field is empty; detail panes no longer come up blank when the content is modelled as test equipment — and say so clearly when there genuinely is nothing to show.
- Streaming — live streams no longer stop when you switch views and come back; fixed the layout of certain 3D data, connection timeouts, and 64-bit values on the Y-axis.
- Plot & Analyze — spectrograms line up correctly with the time axis, and the value axis of 2D plots fits the data exactly.
- Administration & Licensing — the license overview no longer crashes right after loading in rare cases; after uploading a license, the page now waits until the upload has fully finished processing; license-usage warnings are calculated consistently; a license's validity period is respected; search matches are highlighted.
- Navigation — the section picker no longer disappears or gets covered while you're using it; your starred favourites sit in their own clearly separated area; query parameters survive back navigation.
- Statistics — the carousel opens on the date you selected, and the year grid uses your local time zone.
- Security — table contents and search highlighting are protected against HTML injection.
- Sign-in — a brief connection issue during sign-in no longer leaves the user menu empty.
As always, we'd love to hear your feedback.
