This update introduces new processing capabilities and backend improvements for administrators.

New Processing Function: CONVERT_TIMESERIES​

A new processing function CONVERT_TIMESERIES has been introduced, enabling conversion from TimeSeries or SlowQuantity to SlowThruput or SlowQuantity. This expands the flexibility of data transformations available in your processing workflows.

Admin Command: remove_deleted_folders​

A new admin command remove_deleted_folders is now available to identify and clean up orphaned .deleted. folders. This helps administrators maintain a clean system by removing residual data from deleted PAK measurements.

Changes​

  • Improved Index Update Visibility: Users can now see all index updates they have access to via DepotBrowsePermission, providing better transparency into data indexing operations.

  • Configurable Processing Chunk Size: The processing chunk size for Throughput channels can now be configured independently from the read chunk size in local_machine.py. The default read chunk size has been reduced from 5s to 1s, and the processing chunk size defaults to 0.125s (previously 5s), improving processing granularity and performance.

Bug Fixes​

  • TransferMeasurementJob Cleanup: Fixed an issue where TransferMeasurementJob would rename source measurements to .deleted.... instead of properly deleting them, leaving behind residual data. Source measurements are now correctly removed after transfer.
